Following a Crucified Savior | Pastor Marlon Valladares | Reed Creek Baptist Church

Message preached on March 22, 2026 at Reed Creek Baptist Church by Pastor Marlon Valladares. This message, titled “Following a Crucified Savior,” explores Jesus’ call to true discipleship in Gospel of Mark 8:27–38. As Peter recognizes Jesus as the Christ, he still struggles to understand that the Messiah must suffer and die. Jesus reveals that following Him means more than belief alone—it means denying self, taking up the cross, and surrendering fully to His authority. True faith not only recognizes Christ rightly, but follows Him faithfully as a crucified Savior.
