🎓 Can You Use AI in Your Thesis? Three Perspectives on Ethical Use

AI is increasingly becoming part of academic research, but how should students use it responsibly when writing a thesis or conducting research? In this video, I look at ethical AI use in academic research from three perspectives: the academic research perspective, drawing on published research; the university perspective, considering guidance and expectations for students; and my personal perspective on how AI can be used responsibly and meaningfully in research. The aim is to encourage students and young researchers to think critically about where AI can support their work and where careful judgement, transparency, and academic integrity are essential.
