The Secret of Billy Corgan's Gish Strat Pickups

What's the secret behind Billy Corgan's Gish Strat tone? The bridge pickup in his Gish guitar wasn't a typical '70s Strat pickup. It was hotter. Together with Murray Pickups, we built a new '70s-style Strat bridge pickup to clone the Gish sound, then put it through Billy Corgan's Gish, Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie rigs. Note: This is a brand-new version of the Murray pickup, not the same model that has been available over the past year.
