Yarm to Middlesbrough 25.9 Miles

Here’s the full route video from my visit to the Boro and surrounding areas yesterday, making the most of some cracking September weather 🌞👌 Plenty going on in this one! Parliament Road was unusually quiet 🤣, I spotted where the legend that was Brian Clough was born, had an interesting lad wanting to know all about Custard, then bumped into a BBC News reporter asking what I thought of the Turner Prize and some of the artwork… 🤷‍♂️🤣 Let’s just say I wasn’t exactly blown away! 😂 Then there was a dodgy council ramp 🤦‍♂️, a van blocking my route… so it was another “about turn!” 🤣 Back through Marton, Acklam and a few trees 🌳🌳 before heading onto Leven Bank and negotiating the traffic into the Spital Estate. Passed the house of a good friend from way back to show her what it looks like now as she no longer lives in the area — and passed the house where I used to live… although not for very long. I got evicted.
