It may look like a reversed version of Tactics 1 Stage 19, but the enemy units on patrol have gotten a shot in the arm. Upgraded models of Amphibian, Digitalius, and Mad Forest are ready to blitz you at the start with their rapid charging Wave Cannons. Make sure to bring a Hresvelgr for Desync shots, it's no good if you let the enemy sneak up on you. Jamming sure does make the approach to a boss a lot easier, huh? Even an Asanogawa can get within staking distance of the monster at the end of the warp corridor. Space Corps Files: R-9K "Sunday Strike" Improved Subspace Fighter For The Budget-Conscious Admiral Following the production of the R-9C Warhead, Space Corps Command realized that they couldn't rely on single fighters to "blast off and destroy the Bydo Empire" every time; they needed numbers. The Sunday Strike packed all the firepower of the Warhead and more in a frame that cost a whole lot less to produce. In a more meta sense, this is the playable fighter of Super R-Type, a loose adaptation of R-Type II for the Super Nintendo. In Tactics II, the only improvements from the Warhead are a stronger Standard Force K and slightly more fuel for Desync maneuvers. But our fleet doesn't get a discounted production cost... no refunds for the Space Corps.
