Conakry Urban Mobility (Transport) Master Plan

The Urban Mobility Plan of Conakry is a holistic transport master plan for the capital of Guinea that aims to apply Transit Oriented Development, mass transit development, walkability and modal shift from roads to rails for urban logistics to a typical monocentric African metropolis that is about to double its urban population from 2.5 to 5 million by 2040, on a narrow peninsula of 45 km long. The master plan study , funded by the EU (PAST program), was elaborated by Egis and Louis Berger, with Sebastien Goethals as project manager (director of Citilinks).
