🌳 To celebrate International Day of Forests, we spoke to Dr Carly Whittaker, Senior Carbon Scientist at Forest Research, who explains how trees capture carbon from the atmosphere and store it in wood. When that wood is used in buildings, furniture or other products, the carbon continues to be stored for years, sometimes decades.
