ILYUSHIN IL96 LANDING & DEPARTURE at COLOGNE - Ultra RARE IL96 (4K)

An Ilyushin IL96 in Europe in 2026? I never thought I would be able to film a rare IL96 in 2026 but here it is. This week a special Ilyushin from Rossya showed up at Cologne Airport and of course I headed to the german airport to film this special airplane. The aircraft arrived from Moscow at 09:40 and departed back to the russian airport about three hours later. The main runway at Cologne was closed that day which allowed us planespotters to get a perfect possibility to film this plane while landing and departing on the much shorter runway 24. Just the sun wasn` t on our side this day and we were quite unlucky with the weather situation. I was still quite happy with the result. I also included a few other Ilyushins, Tupolevs, Antonovs and other east-eu planes I have filmed within the past years in this video, including an IL62 of Rada Airways which was filmed at Maastricht.
