The Tema Circuit Court B has sentenced two Nigerian nationals, Kingsley Ndifon and Emmanuel Akong, to 20 years' imprisonment each after finding them guilty of human trafficking and causing harm. According to the prosecution, the pair lured young men from Nigeria to Afienya with promises of employment. Once in Ghana, the victims were allegedly forced into cyber-related activities. The court also heard that victims who refused to cooperate were subjected to severe beatings with electrical cables and machetes.
