Chaos at Carlisle: Delays for Freight and Passenger trains 12 October 2026

12th October at Carlisle. A fatality around Leyland delayed trains headed for Carlisle and Scotland on the West Coast Main Line. Delays of over 2 hours for some freight. Crew changes delayed and not as scheduled. The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.
