From Pernem to Canacona following traits of tribal, the Dhangar community of Goa lives in the lap of natural setting in the vicinity of water resources. Buffaloes and goats since the hoary past responsible for enriching their livelihood. The annual Dasara festival provides the forum not only for the men folk, but also to the hardworking women. Without using clapping, the Dhangar women displays varied behavioral pattern of the buffalos by expressing their inner voices through melodious and meaningful folk songs of the Fugadi.
