Delhi: 31-Year-Old Adobe Engineer Beaten to Death by Wife’s Relatives | ISH News

A family dispute over medicine for a four-month-old baby has ended in a shocking murder in Delhi. 31-year-old Vinay Gupta, a software engineer at Adobe in Noida, lived in Laxmi Park with his wife Rekha and their four-and-a-half-month-old twins. On 21 August 2026, Vinay and Rekha reportedly argued over who would give medicine to one of their babies. Rekha left the house and returned about 10 minutes later with several relatives. According to Vinay’s family, the relatives then attacked him. His parents tried to intervene, but were pushed away. A neighbour rushed Vinay to hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Delhi Police registered a murder case and arrested Rekha, her two brothers Raju and Ved Prakash Jindal, and Raju’s wife Poonam. Other relatives, including Rekha’s father and uncle, are also being questioned. Police are investigating after finding that the CCTV camera inside the house had been switched off before the incident. Outside CCTV reportedly captured Rekha and her relatives arriving at the house. Vinay’s family alleges that there had been earlier tensions and threats, while police are investigating whether the attack was planned and determining each person’s role. The case has been registered under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The most heartbreaking part?
