南阿蘇鉄道開業４０周年　初夏の高森駅（ 特別車両： ワンピース ・ トロッコ ）〜立野駅 40th anniversary of the opening of Minami Aso Railway

2026年（令和８年）6月１１日 乗り鉄の私が一番後悔しているのは，いつでも乗れるからと後回しにしていた高千穂鉄道が,平成17年の台風14号災害で突然廃線になり乗らず仕舞いになった事。幸い南阿蘇鉄道は，熊本地震から全線復興できた。そしてこの度，ようやく乗車できた。ちなみに，高森町のYH村田家旅館に宿泊したのは，高校２年の3月に自転車旅行したとき以来，何と46年ぶり。旧道九十九曲がり高森峠へと続く街道は，宿場街として栄えていた昔を偲ばせる。 June 11, 2026 My biggest regret about riding trains is that the Takachiho Railway, which I had put off because I could ride it anytime, was suddenly shut down due to Typhoon No. 14 in 2005, and I ended up not riding it. Fortunately, the entire Minami-Aso Railway was able to recover from the Kumamoto Earthquake. And this time, I was finally able to ride. By the way, it's been 46 years since I last stayed at YH Murata Family Ryokan in Takamori Town, since I went on a bicycle trip in March of my second year of high school. The old road, which winds 99 times and leads to Takamori Pass, is reminiscent of the past when it flourished as a post town.
