Christ Quantus C165

Program n°3 - 12€ This machine has been installed in 2015 as an additional rollover to the site. This was before a self-serve jet bay. A year later a red Quantus was added next to this one, replacing a Ryko Excel. It got removed few months ago and has been replaced by a second-hand Christ Genius that came straight from the TotalEnergie petrol station a few hundred meters from here ! The car wash at the Total gas station is being refurbished, I think a newer machine will be installed soon. The Quantus are rare machines in France, I was happy to film one ! The Quantus was quite glitchy. First, when we arrived, I asked my father to choose a nice program. As soon as he cliked on the program list, the machine went on by itself and started washing the car ! The owner was very surprised. And because there was no foam the first time, the owner did a reset of the machine. What you see here is the second wash. The foam was somehow replaced by the chemical pre-wash which is seen on the top program. The owner told us the foam wasn't working because the dosing pump was worned out. The final result was very satisfaying despite all the problems ! I will come back later to do a revisit for sure.
