Sydney Bus Museum; Ex-Westbus #7457 Volvo B10M (Custom Coaches 'Euro II')

In this video we take a ride on preserved ex-Westbus #7457, which is a 1984 Volvo B10M with a Custom Coaches 'Euro II' body. We ride this bus on route 444 during the Sydney Bus Museum's Busfest 26 event held on the 20th September 2026 at the White Bay Cruise Ship Terminal. This bus was the 50th Volvo bus delivered to Westbus, who would go on to operate a fleet of over 160 Volvo B10M's. 7457 was allocated to Westbus' Northmead Depot, where it operated services in the Parramatta and Hills areas. The region later being incorporated into the contract of Hillsbus. From mid-2008 7457, now painted in the ComfortDelgro Cabcharge (CDC) canary yellow livery, was allocated to the 'loan' fleet and was subsequently allocated to the following depots: Westbus Penrith, Westbus Girraween, Westbus Bonyrigg, Westbus Seven Hills, Hunter Valley Buses Thornton. In February, 2013, the bus was deregistered after spending its final months as a school bus in the Hunter Valley.
