Here is what to expect, if you are wondering what's it like to visit The El Tatio Geysers in Chile, Atacama Desert. It's A 360 World! Experience the sights in interactive and immersive 360 panoramic video. If you don't like 360 videos, there is another version of this video for regular non-360 viewing at    • What's Like To Visit... El Tatio Geysers, ...   This 360 interactive video was produced with many static pauses for enjoying the 360 degrees panorama. Camera motions are very slow and smooth, in order to avoid any motion discomfort upon viewing. Enjoy this video using: 1. Any mobile device (phone or tablet). IMPORTANT: Make sure the phone is in landscape position. By dragging the view with your finger on the screen or moving the phone around, you will see different angles (even behind you or on the ground). 2. Any computer screen. Touch and scroll screen or mouse to pan left-right-up-down. 3. Any VR set. If you're here, you know how to what to do. Just move your head and look... El Tatio is the highest geyser field in the world. It is located at 4320 m (14,170 ft). When I visited (in the winter) the temperature was -20° C (-4° F). After about one hour of holding the metal pole that keeps the video camera in position I got the early stages of frostbite on my fingers. When you will visit, please be sure to get dressed in layers and have warm gloves and hat. Start your visit about 1 hour before sunrise. That is when the vapor columns are at their highest and being there is an entirely surreal experience. As tempting as it may be, don't touch the water. The water here boils at 88°C and what may seem like "not very hot water" is boiling and will scald you! Take your time to look around in all directions. SUGGESTION: see the video again, but each time you watch, look in different directions. You will discover new things...
