What a fun and beginner friendly woodworking project, turning firewood on a lathe into art sure is satisfying. Really only using my spindle roughing gouge, spindle gouge and parting tool and turning between centers without need for a 4 jaw chuck. I cut this Bradford Pear tree down last week and its super wet, which is fine by me because I love turning green wood.
