In this video, I take you along on my budget-friendly one-day museum trip in Delhi, covering 3 interesting museums using mostly public transport. 📍 Our 3 Museum Stops: 1️⃣ Nehru Planetarium 🚇 Nearest Metro: Udyog Bhavan A great first stop, and easily accessible by metro. 2️⃣ Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya 🏛️ Located right next to the Nehru Planetarium, so you can simply walk from the Planetarium to the museum instead of spending money on another ride. 3️⃣ Shankar's International Dolls Museum 🚕 We took an auto from Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya, which cost approximately ₹100–₹150. 🚇 If you're travelling directly to the Dolls Museum, ITO Metro Station is a convenient metro option. Approximate Budget You can keep this entire day under ₹500, depending on your travel and food choices. 🎟️ Museum tickets: approximately ₹30–₹60 per museum 🚇 Metro: approximately ₹30 for our travel 🛺 Auto: approximately ₹100–₹150 🥤 Food & drinks: approximately ₹100 There are also additional activities/add-ons available at some of the museums, which can increase your budget. I didn't include those in this particular trip. Food: There are canteens available within the museum campuses, and you can also find places to eat around the Dolls Museum area. Important Tip During my visit, photography and video recording were not allowed inside the museums, so make sure you check the current rules before planning your filming. Do you need to book tickets online? Not necessarily. For this trip, online booking wasn't required, and you can check the ticketing arrangements at the respective museum before visiting.
