Plant Your Feet and Plan in the Wind · nordic dub techno for planning

A wide, northern groove at about ninety two beats a minute, with a deep bass line and dry woodblock and shaker. Warm pad chords change every eight bars and stretch out in long echoes. A folk fiddle drone rings on open strings low in the mix, its extra strings humming along, while a steady wind rushes across open water. Every so often a second folk instrument answers, and near the end another fiddle joins a fifth higher and they hold one chord together. A high autumn fell of lichen and wind bent grass, with roofless dry stone rooms and stone shelters looking down into gold birch valleys under racing cloud. Music for thinking, drawing and building.
