I’m playing the line on Double Bass here, but this is a great one to play on Bass Guitar too! This is a great jazz standard to have in your repertoire for lots of reason that I go over in the video. It will help you build solid walking skills and help you get versed in jazz language. I take a few different approaches to walking throughout the three choruses that I’m playing and I talk through some of the important things to keep in mind with this song. Dig into this tune and find some new things to put into your walking! Check it out and let me know what you think! 00:00 1st Chorus - Foundational Chord Tones & Scalar Notes 00:57 2nd Chorus - Chromatic Passing Notes 01:51 3rd Chorus - Rhythmic Embellishments #jazz #bass #bajo #bassplayer #bassist #doublebass #uprightbass #acousticbass #bassguitar #electricbass #sixstringbass #walkingbass #lesson #tab #tablature #tuneup #milesdavis #bassline#jazzstandard Want to play some jazz but you need a groove?
