Five Guys Burger & Fries Delivered…But Did the New Shake?

Is Five Guys still worth it? I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger, Five Guys fries and the limited-time Blackberry Shake mixed with peanut butter—and one item definitely didn’t deliver the way I expected. As a former professional chef, I’m reviewing the entire meal: the Bacon Cheeseburger with fresh patties, American-style cheese and Applewood-smoked bacon; Five Guys’ famous boardwalk-style fries; and a Blackberry–Peanut Butter Shake inspired by the flavors of a PB&J. The shake wasn’t terrible, but the blackberry and peanut butter combination simply didn’t hit the spot for me.
