The project will be inaugurated with Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone laying by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 29. This airport will usher in a new era in the state's transport and tourism sector and will play an important role in the overall development of the region. The Bihar government has acquired 116 acres of land for the construction of the new terminal building of this international airport to be built in Bihta. All the formalities regarding this project have almost been completed and now the construction work will start soon. Patna District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh himself reached Bihta and inspected the preparations before construction and the condition of the land.
