Drought, global supply pressures challenge Uganda’s coffee and cocoa farmers

Coffee and cocoa farmers in Uganda are being urged not to panic over falling and fluctuating prices. The Agriculture Ministry says the pressure is largely driven by changes in global supply, weather and inventories, not disappearing demand. But with drought also affecting local production, farmers are being encouraged to focus on quality and productivity.
