EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH DENG MANYIEL MALEEK

Deng Manyiel Malek, one of the pioneers of Twic East Forward, shares his views on the current affairs within the Twic East Youth Association (TEYA) leadership under Chairman William Deng Kuir. In this discussion, Deng Manyiel addresses the roles of the certificates of NCAA, TEYA, TECA, and TEWA in attracting resources and humanitarian support to Twic East from international NGOs and humanitarian partners. He further discusses the question of accountability and reporting, arguing that if NCAA is required to report to TEYA, additional accountability requirements to humanitarian partners could potentially affect or limit NGO funding to NCAA.
