Hiking to SNOW in The Grampians 2021 😱 Mount William summit, The Pinnacle & MacKenzie Falls vlog

I spent 48 hours in The Grampians National Park, staying at Breeze Holiday Parks Grampians (five minutes out of Halls Gap). The first walk I did was to MacKenzie Falls, a gorgeous waterfall I'd been to before. It was raining and there was plenty of water around so the waterfall looked great! It's a steep walk down lots of stairs to the base of the falls but definitely worth it and it's not too far. I then attempted to check out the view at Reed Lookout however the weather was too bad and the lookout was completely white and in a cloud 😂 The Pinnacle was next on my list and luckily the rain held off for me for majority of the walk. I started the hike from Wonderland Carpark and first went via the Grand Canyon which was pretty impressive. I then continued on the trail to Silent Street which was probably my favourite part of the whole hike. Eventually I made it to The Pinnacle Lookout where I was lucky enough to get a pretty clear view over Halls Gap and The Grampians. A very impressive lookout and a great hike to get there, I would highly recommend. The following morning I headed up to Mount William as I wanted to attempt hiking to the summit. It's the tallest mountain in The Grampians, standing at 1,167m above sea level. It's only 45 minutes walk from the carpark to the summit but the weather was horrendous and I knew there would be no view from the top. I was however intrigued by the fact that there could possibly be SNOW at the top. I honestly didn't think there would be snow but I decided to start the hike anyway. It's a steep walk to the top along a sealed road and the freezing cold weather made it even harder. It was all worth it when I started to see snow on the sides of the road which eventually led to the whole road being covered. At the summit of Mount William there was so much snow, I actually couldn't believe it. Such a perfect way to end my short trip here.
