[作画 MAD/AMV] Full Animation (フルアニメ) Sakuga

While the term "Full Animation" originates from continuous, complex movement and characters animated in their entirety (not in parts), for this video I'll be using the meaning of animation where the 24 drawings that make up 1 second are different, that is, 24 drawings per second (not to be confused with frame rate), or what you may have heard referred to as "1s" animation. However, I didn't want everything to be exclusively in 1s, since there are many scenes that change the timing, generally going from 2s to 1s, which will help those without a trained eye to notice the marked difference between the two timings. The approach to full animation in the West and Japan appears to be fundamentally different. Western animators typically work at a much slower pace, relying on the 24-frame animation to achieve a sense of constant, consistent and circular movement. They also heavily apply Disney's Principles of Animation in their pursuit of a physically realistic approach. On the other hand, Japanese animators often produce Full Animation at an excessively fast pace, with a series of complex movements occurring in a very short time. The spacing between poses (or frames) follows the same approach as when working with a different timing, such as 2s. This results in a very different, sometimes even abrupt or strange feel, not to mention the lesser emphasis on consistency due to the Japanese production process. That said, working with Full Animation is also one of the highest points of animation technically, as it requires excellent skill and a very specific way of positioning the drawings to avoid creating any strange sensations.
