10 Old-School Wisconsin Diners & Drive-Ins That Take You Back in Time

A diner delivered by railroad. Carhops on roller skates. A hamburger stand whose story begins in 1916. Across Wisconsin, old-school diners and drive-ins have kept their windows open through generations of change. In this Wisconsin Memory Mile documentary, we count down ten places where the history is as memorable as the meal. From Franks Diner in Kenosha to Milty Wilty in Wautoma, discover the families, traditions and unexpected journeys behind these Wisconsin landmarks. These places are ranked by their stories—not by their food. Which one have you visited, and which Wisconsin diner should we cover next? Share your memories in the comments.
