This is the first generation of Mazda RX7 referred to as the FB. In this first generation there are 3 series. The first series (1978-1980) referred to as the SA used a 12A engine, The second series (1981-1983) had a slight facelift in the taillights and some changes to the exterior and interior with a 12A engine and was already referred to as the FB.
