CMPL EXPO 2023 - The Ultimate Gathering of the FMCG Contract Manufacturing Industry

The 5th edition of Asia's Largest Contract Manufacturing and Private Label Show, CMPL Expo took place on 4-5 May 2023 at The Jio World Convention Centre, BKC Mumbai. The show was inaugurated by Mr. Uday Samant, Cabinet Minister (Industries), Government of Maharashtra. CMPL is a platform that brings together the entire FMCG contract manufacturing industry, including retailers, D2C brands, start-ups, FMCG brand owners, specialty retailers, hospitality & HORECA, pharmacy chains, resellers, exporters, distributors, and manufacturers from food and non-food categories, along with suppliers of raw materials, packaging, brand design, and allied services. The event has successfully created an ecosystem for the industry to connect, share insights, address challenges, discuss case-studies, and drive business opportunities for all stakeholders under one roof. This year, the show had over 350 exhibitors, with 12,000 trade attendees, and more than 15,000 products on display. The Knowledge Series, held alongside the show, also presented more than 10 conference sessions with Speakers from Big Basket, Mensa Brands, Hindustan Foods Ltd, Reliance Retail, Elastic Run, Health and Glow, Theka Coffee, Wellness Group, Maxima Solutions, Centdegres, Mcaffeine, to name a few. For the very first time, CMPL also introduced international country representation offices which included KOTRA, MATRADE, Thailand Board of Investment and The Indonesian Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC Chennai) The event garnered tremendous response from exhibitors and visitors alike who engaged with participants to discover new opportunities, emerging trends, and industry developments that can help the industry grow further.
