Festival parních lokomotiv, Benešov u Prahy, 19th & 20th September 2026

Possibly the last "Benešov event" (due to the spread of ERTMS and consequent need for ETCS fitment to locos) was held mid-September. A wide variety of visiting locos worked on the associated trains, ex-MAV 331.059 worked a passenger train for the first time in preservation. Other steam locos that featured in the event were; ČSD 354.7152, DR 41.1144, DR 50.1171 (running as ČSD 555.129), DR 50.3616, DR 86.1333, SNCF 241A65. Diesel locos were; "ČD" 730613, ČD 749262, ČD 750202, DR 132334, DR 142001, DSB MY1138 and finally the immaculate DR VT18.16 trainset. Not all are in this video.
