RAN Fleet Base East & Spirit of Tasmania in Drydock - 18 September, 2026 - Ships in the Wild

Trying out my Canon HFG70 Camcorder under different conditions, several Royal Australian Navy ships are seen berthed at HMAS Kuttabul, Sydney, on 18 September, 2026. This was filmed whilst sailing on Sydney Ferries Scarborough and Sirius, on the Circular Quay to Taronga Zoo route. HMAS Canberra (L02) and HMAS Adelaide (L01) are both present, as are HMAS Brisbane (DDG 41), HMAS Arunta (FFH 151), HMAS Ballarat (FFH 155), HMAS Choules (L100). A surprise appearance of the Spirit of Tasmania IV in the Captain Cook Graving Dock. This new vessel will service passengers travelling between Devonport, Tasmania, and Geelong, Victoria, with operations due to commence in October 2026. Filmed by me on a Canon HFG70 Camcorder.
