This might genuinely be the best Halo mod I've played in a while. Halo meets Dead Space and Marathon in this incredible single-player horror experience created by community modder Splaesh. This mod takes the classic Halo sandbox and completely transforms it into something far darker. Atmospheric environments, eerie lighting, isolation and a constant feeling that something is seriously wrong make this feel less like traditional Halo and more like a full-blown sci-fi horror game. The influence from Dead Space and Marathon is immediately noticeable, but it still manages to feel unmistakably Halo. And honestly… I wasn't expecting a Halo mod to nail this atmosphere as well as it does.
