Dover | Town Center Walkthrough | Summer 2026

Exploring the historic English port town of Dover, beginning at the waterfront before making our way inland through the town centre to the Prince Albert pub. Starting beside the Waterfront and a clutter of civic artworks, we descend into the 'Dover Time Tunnel', an exciting history-themed walkway under the A20 and head up into the heart of the town. We pass through the revamped Market Square, home to a distinctive four-ring walk-through water feature (unveiled in 2022) before continuing along Dover's historic High Street - catching glimpses of Dover Castle and the Wetherspoons along the way. Our walk finishes outside Biggin Street's last surviving pub, the Prince Albert, opposite a plaque commemorating the life of Queen Elizabeth II.
