I finally get to Angkor Wat after four months living in Siem Reap. It is my 42nd birthday, Lee has got me out of the flat, and the temples are beautiful, peaceful and very hot. Then a monkey gets into our bikes. We walk through the galleries and stone corridors, cross the moat, ride through the forest and stop at more temples. I share my reactions and speculate about the buildings and their purpose; this is a personal travel vlog rather than a guided history tour. By the end I am ready for the sauna and Sheffield Wednesday, but first there is water missing from the bikes and a search for Lee's microphone. Thankfully, it turns up. Should I come back with a guide for another visit? Tell me in the comments.
