3 Men Posing as Police Raped Minor Girl: Arrested Within 12 Hours | ISL News

Three men allegedly posing as policemen gang-raped a 17-year-old girl inside Aastha Kunj Park near Delhi’s Kalkaji Temple on 21 September 2026. The girl had travelled from Faridabad to Delhi with her 17-year-old male friend to visit Kalkaji Temple on her birthday. After visiting the temple, the two went to Aastha Kunj Park and sat on a bench in a quieter part of the park. Police said three men approached them and pretended to be policemen. They allegedly threatened the teenagers by saying they were minors, had done something wrong and could face a police case. The men then separated the girl from her friend and took her to a secluded area of the park, where she was allegedly raped. Her friend was also held and assaulted during the incident. The boy called the police at around 8:45 pm. Police teams then began investigating the case using CCTV footage, technical information and statements from the teenagers. All three accused — Asif, Hemant and Mukesh — were arrested within about 12 hours. Police said Asif opened fire at a police team during his arrest in Amar Colony. He was shot in the right leg and taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre for treatment. The case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
