"Jesus is a Ugandan!" – Did you know that Uganda's River Nile played a crucial role in the survival of baby Jesus while He was in Egypt? Experience the historic and highly anticipated launch of the Runyakitara Service at All Saints Nyendo Church of Uganda (Kako Deanery, West Buganda Diocese)! Held on Pentecost Sunday (May 24, 2026), this heavily attended service was a beautiful manifestation of the Holy Spirit speaking to believers in their native tongue. Requested by the Christian community, granted operation by the Vicar, Rev. John Anthony Katamba, and coordinated by the Assistant Vicar, Rev. Saturday Ronald, this new service brought hundreds together in massive celebration. Sermon Highlights: Rev. Darius Kambendyaho Guest preacher Rev. Darius Kambendyaho (Assistant Vicar, Lyantonde) delivered a powerful Pentecost message about the symbols of the Holy Spirit's presence (Fire, Wind, Dove - Acts 2:1, John 1:32). He emphasized the unusual power, confidence, courage, and unity the Holy Spirit brings to a believer's life. He also shared a profound and fascinating analogy: "Jesus is a Ugandan." He explained that when Jesus' parents fled Bethlehem to seek refuge in the dry desert of Egypt, Uganda gave them life through the River Nile! Jesus ate food cooked with Nile water, drank it, and His clothes were washed in the waters flowing directly from Uganda's Lake Victoria. Rev.
