Inspired heavily by Dark Souls, Salt & Sacrifice takes brutal Soulslike combat and transforms it into a 2D action RPG packed with mage hunts, punishing bosses, skill trees, crafting, and seamless online multiplayer. While the game had mixed reception at launch, we went in fresh (I never played Sanctuary!) and discovered just how chaotic, hilarious, and surprisingly fun co-op mage hunting can be. Two brothers. Two Inquisitors. Endless salt. In this movie, we go through the entire game, hunting every mage and exploring every area and secret, while cutting out the boring bits and leaving in the hilarious coop fun times while we devour any mage that dares cross our path. We play together every Friday and keep progression strictly co-op — though I may or may not have done some “Dawnlight cooperation” farming between sessions to bulk up 👀.
