DON’T LOOK BACK

In DON’T LOOK BACK, Rev. Anita Bentum-Williams delivers a stirring message about moving forward in faith and obedience. The story of Lot’s wife in Genesis 19:26 reminds us of the cost of looking back when God calls us forward she turned into a pillar of salt because her heart lingered in the past. Her story warns us that clinging to what God has already delivered us from can freeze our progress and blind us to His promises ahead. The Apostle Paul echoes this truth in Philippians 3:14: “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Together, these scriptures call us to release the past and pursue the future God has prepared. Every step forward is a step closer to His purpose, His peace, and His prize. Don’t let yesterday’s pain or comfort hold you captive. When God says move, move because His glory is always ahead, never behind. Keep pressing toward the mark, and trust that what’s before you is far greater than what’s behind you. #faith
