Get your Contact right! The way your horn comes up to your face (Contact) is part of the three most important ways to balance out your trumpet playing. -Position -Contact! -Support Lots of videos out there these days telling you how to play the trumpet! Most of them run on and on, telling you virtually nothing. In the end, they direct you to some masterclass- that's basically an advertisement telling you to sign up for lessons so they can "show you the way!" For a fee of course.... Stop wasting your time! Here is some real information, in about 2 minutes. If you can use it, great. If not--keep looking, but surfing YouTube is probably not the place you're gonna get better at the trumpet!
