5 inch gauge Sweet Pea - New years(ish) steam up at Avonvale Model Engineering Society

One of our members decided it might be a nice idea to steam his 5 inch gauge sweet pea on new years day, the weather had a different idea, so the small steam up was postponed to the 2nd of January. Rather than wet and windy, the 2nd of January was cold and frosty, the perfect weather for slipping on the inclines. The locomotive ran well and smoothly after sand was placed on the steepest parts, and more of a run up had been taken! This is a the first video we have made of the circuit of the track, but I think next time, there should be better placement of the camera! For anyone wondering, we stopped at the small bridge because a little 5 inch gauge sweet pea barely has enough pressure to do the whole circuit. this also allowed for a crew change, and one of our younger members took it back into the station.
