Two new Disney videos in the same year?? WHAT?!
Yes. Hi, it's me. I'm back again. Sort of.
It's rare, but once in a while, the urge to edit Disney crossover videos still overtakes me, so here I am after staying up until 3 am last night and spending my entire day today making this 2-minute video.
SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT.
Don't save him. Or her. They're both where they want to be!
I was thinking about doing a completely different video, but while brainstorming, this idea popped into my mind: "What if Aurora was a villain and Phillip was...also not quite right?" A villain x villain pairing, but only using protagonists. Emily Mei's song "Monster Under the Bed" immediately came to mind, and the plot of this video follows the plot of that music video, more or less.
As some of you know, I'm an author! I've been writing much longer than I've been making Disney crossovers, but publishing has been a slow, complicated, frustrating process, so it took me...a while...to get my books in print. I published my debut novel, Make Me Monstrous (a YA fantasy), in 2025 and my second novel, Across the K-pop Universe (NA fantasy-mystery-adventure), this summer. I make zero dollars from making Disney videos, so if you'd like to support my storytelling another way, please consider checking out my books and/or telling your friends that they exist! If you have Kindle Unlimited, you can read them for free. I'm currently working on my third novel, a silly romantasy (with faeries!). Basically, I much write the same way that I edit Disney videos: flopping between angst, comedy, romance, and thrills, depending on what I'm interested in at the time.
Anyway, I hope you like my twist on Aurora and Phillip! He's so annoying to edit with; there are hardly any clips of him, and 90% of them are wide shots. Ugh. Unfortunately, I only have a very old, low-quality copy of the movie, so that limited what I could do, but I'm happy with the end result.
Until next time!
