Started the morning throwing a Spook Jr., Vision 110 Jr., 3/8oz Jig, and 3in Keitech. Zero bite for the first 40 minutes. Also tied on a crankbait and popper with zero interest. But as soon as I picked up the dropshot, first fish was a solid 3pounder. Rotated between C3 Baits…. Shimmy’s, Jobu and Curly Sue along with some Roboworms and even a Baby Brush Hig had 21 by the noon. Went to my second spot and only landed 2 in the entire cove. 3rd spot at the main launch ramp down to Government Cove, I found a decent paddle tail bite on my BFS set up. Also threw a chatterbait (JackHammer and Mini Max) with zero hits. Ended the day with around 45 fish.
