Vaivorykstė – Sniego jūra (pop techno, 1995 m., Andra Norkūnaitė & Darius Vitkauskas ♡)

꒰ ִ ֺ ⊹ ｃｒｅｄｉｔｓ ⊹ ֺ ִ ꒱ ♡ ANDRA NORKŪNAITĖ vocals ♡ DARIUS VITKAUSKAS leader, keyboards ꒰ ִ ֺ ⊹ ｉｎｆｏ ⊹ ֺ ִ ꒱ The band Vaivorykštė—led by Andra Norkūnaitė and Darius Vitkauskas—released its first and unfortunately only album in 1995, which was partially recorded in 1994, was only on cassette, and featured lots of striking and astonishing disco/pop techno songs, with a kind of distinguished and exceptional style! ( = ⩊ = ) Vaivorykštė (🌈) is probably one of the first bands I ever discovered when I've got really into this kinda stuff because of Ultradiskopanorama, and ever since then I've been really big on this band, especially because Veckansvynil posted Mergaitė tu šypsokis and I fell in love with that song. (〃＞＿＜;〃) They're indeed very special, their style is just majestic, I can't really explain what it makes me feel but it just sounds so powerful-like and as thought it was made in the late 80s. And I just wish I could hear more of Vaivorykštė's music with Andra's sweet voice matched with Darius' incredible music.ヽ(ᗒ⩊ᗕ )ノ Andra unfortunately didn't participate in any other project as far as I know, but I do know the leader of this band—Darius Vitkauskas—participated in many amazing projects, one of them being Aelita, whose albums were posted on my other channel. He is such an amazing leader and music producer. I truly admire the talent of these two amazing people. Their music really brightens up people's days. I love you Vaivorykštė so much, and I want you to know that your music is still loved, enjoyed, danced to and even cried to, because of the ethereally beautiful music you guys made. All my best wishes to you, I wish you the best life and good health first! I have no words to describe how proud I am of you, Vaivorykštė.
