Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio, is a historic 285-acre garden cemetery renowned as the final resting place of notable American icons, including President James A. Garfield and billionaire industrialist John D. Rockefeller. Founded in 1869 and inspired by the grand garden-style cemeteries of Europe, it serves as both a burial ground and an outdoor arboretum packed with dramatic architecture, rolling landscape hills, and magnificent funerary art.
