Welcome to this video on circles—a fundamental yet sometimes challenging topic in Geometry. I’m excited to start this series with you, and in this first part, we’ll introduce the basics of circles. What is a Circle? A circle is defined as path traced out by moving points from from a fixed point by taking a fixed distance. This fixed point is called the centre, and the fixed distance is known as the radius. A simple way to visualize this is to imagine placing a pin at the centre of a paper and tying a string to a pencil. If you keep the string taut and move the pencil around the pin, the pencil will trace out a perfect circle. What to Expect This is just the beginning.
