The Rough Shed

The shearing season is starting in outback Queensland and members of the McDonald family converge on Budgerygar Station. Mary is the shearers' cook, the genial but rugged former barmaid whose work takes her all over Australia. Son Errol is a shearer and a single father to 4 year-old Kayla. The Rough Shed is the story of a little girl in a man's world, and a family divided but united by the work they do.
