The Abbott And Costello Show - "Lou Shoots an Orange Picker" (Old Time Radio, 1945)

The Abbott And Costello Show presents “Lou Shoots an Orange Picker,” originally broadcast February 1, 1945. Also cataloged as “Stolen Oranges,” this NBC, Camel Cigarettes-sponsored installment features Bud Abbott and Lou Costello. When Lou tries to intervene in a neighbor’s orange-stealing problem, the situation quickly leads to comic courtroom confusion. The story revisits an earlier Abbott and Costello radio routine, “The Lawyer.” The Abbott And Costello Show presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
