In celebration of Panther Alumni Week (PAW) 2021, FIU School of Music faculty and alumni big band members present Be Bop Charlie by Bop Florence. Message From Jim Hacker, FIU Jazz Big Band & University Brass Choir Director "One of the positive outcomes I’ve found of this socially distanced era is the new space for projects. A year ago, we may not have been able to have a virtual big band collaboration, but here we are. This particular group of FIU faculty and alumni had never played all together but thanks to the tireless efforts of everyone involved- we have now. We hope this is the first of multiple projects featuring other gifted graduates of the FIU School of Music."
