Sipadan Diving: Sharks, Turtles & Hundreds of Bumphead Parrotfish | Malaysia | Insta360 X6

Sipadan is one of the world's most famous diving destinations, and after four days of diving around Sipadan and Mabul, I can finally see why. From huge schools of jackfish and hundreds of bumphead parrotfish to reef sharks, turtles, tuna, batfish and vibrant coral reefs, the underwater world here was absolutely incredible. Sipadan's protected marine environment is home to an amazing variety of marine life, making almost every dive feel like entering a giant natural aquarium. I also explored the reefs around Mabul, known for its incredible macro life, and encountered dozens of turtles, nudibranchs, moray eels and other reef creatures. On my final day at Sipadan, I even came across a pair of mating turtles — an unexpected highlight of the trip. For my underwater footage, I used the Insta360 X6 and DJI Osmo Action 6.
