TRUMPF TruMatic 7000 Cutting with Additional Axes

Conventional laser cutting on a punch/laser machine is performed by moving the sheet under a stationary laser cutting head. The TruMatic 7000 adds two additional linear drives on the laser head with acceleration rates up to 10 meters/sec*sec in a range of motion up to a 2" diameter. This dramatically increases productivity and flexibility. The axes are utilized for high speed cutting of small parts, small contours, corner transitions, concurrent removal of multiple parts and cutting closer to the clamps.
